On Sunday, 6 August 2017, Angus Murray, Senior Associate and Trade Marks Attorney at Irish Bentley Lawyers presented the Disrupting Law 2017 awards at QUT. Disrupting Law is an annual “lawtech” hackathon hosted by the Legal Forecast and QUT Starters.
The winning team had developed a platform, RentAware, to assist with early resolution of rental tenancy disputes with other teams creating brilliant and novel solutions to issues within legal practice including products involving biometrics, predictive coding and artificial intelligence.

Angus is a co-founder and national director of the Legal Forecast and is heavily involved with community enrichment, legal education and intellectual property law.
