Angus practices intellectual property law, administrative (taxation and migration) law and insolvency litigation.
Angus brings a powerful combination of an extensive academic background together with proven successes in litigation. He completed his Bachelor of Laws in 2012 before completing a Master of European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University, Sweden having his thesis published in the Nordic Intellectual Property Law Review. He has completed a Graduate Diploma of Intellectual Property Law at Melbourne University. He has a strong community focus and is currently the Junior Vice President of the Queensland Council for Civil Liberties, the Chair of Electronic Frontiers Australia’s Policy and Research Committee. He is also a co-founder and Director of The Legal Forecast.
Angus is also a sessional academic at the University of Southern Queensland (teaching LAW3481 – Emerging Legal Tech & Practice) and the Queensland University of Technology (teaching LWN409 – Trade Mark Practice).
Angus has a dedicated passion for law and an ability to identify and understand the intricate issues that face ecommerce, intellectual property and the digital world in general.
