Zeke D. Bentley Zeke Bentley – Principal (LLB, B.Com, GDLP)
Zeke has a broad range of litigation experience and a reputation as a trouble-shooter. His tactical litigation skills have secured many legal precedents and Court victories.
He practices in commercial litigation, insolvency, restructures and the drafting of complex commercial agreements.
Greg Shaw Greg Shaw – Associate (LL.B (Hons), LL.M)
Greg has over 10 years of experience in all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution in the courts of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia and has acted for listed companies, proprietary companies, partnerships, educational institutions, state government bodies, joint ventures, insurers and individuals.
He also advises public companies, small to medium enterprises and individuals on a range of non-litigious commercial matters such as mergers and acquisitions (including due diligence and transaction documentation), franchising and distribution, general corporate advice and risk minimisation.
Greg has significant experience advising in the area of franchising (both franchisors and franchisees) and all aspects of sports law including event and venue management.
Frank Dzelalija Frank Dzelalija – In-House Counsel (LLM)
Frank was admitted to practice in 1989 and since, has established a reputation for his expertise in the areas of commercial litigation and corporate law – specifically contractual and trade practices disputes.
Frank complements Irish Bentley Lawyers with his practice experience and innovative approach to attend to a client’s needs in a commercial and effective manner.
David Grant David Grant – Solicitor (LLB, BA Justice, GDLP)
David practices in commercial litigation and dispute resolution with diligence, focus and tenacity. Prior to joining Irish Bentley Lawyers, David worked for a boutique commercial litigation firm in the CBD, and was formerly a federal investigator for the Australian Government.
David is committed to working efficiently and effectively with our clients to protect their interests and to achieve the best possible outcome for them in commercial disputes.
Corina Chen Corina Chen – Solicitor (LLB, GDLP)
Corina brings to the firm a passionate background in humanitarian law and migration law, gained in her years of volunteering with refugees and the homeless.
In addition to possessing a committed, efficient and meticulous attitude towards her work, Corina is multilingual which enables her to more effectively assist in commercial practice areas for international and domestic clients.
Zoe Thornborough Zoe Thornborough – Solicitor (LLB, GDLP)
Zoe Thornborough is experienced in commercial disputes, workplace relations, and migration law. She has assisted many communities in Queensland, undertook an internship with Amnesty International, and was appointed as a Model United Nations delegate.
Her accomplishments include receiving the 2007 Australia Day Award for Junior Citizen (Northern NSW Region), and reaching the finals for Zonta, Young Women in Public Affairs Competition.
